Why DKS Construction works with Miller-Bradford & Risberg

DKS Construction handles excavation, site preparation, residential and commercial construction, and a variety of other earthmoving and building projects. They depend on Kobelco and CASE machines to complete their jobs and rely on Miller-Bradford to provide and maintain the equipment their operation needs. We spoke with Mark Schmidt, the owner of DKS, to find out why they choose to partner with our team.

MBR delivers a personal touch

“We've worked with Miller-Bradford for about 10 years, and I can tell you that they are great at guiding us through the sales process. They do a nice job making things personal with you. After we purchase a piece of equipment, their sales and product reps have always come out to our location to physically go over the machine, help us dial in settings for our attachments, explain all the features, and answer any questions we have. They really make sure that everything comes as ordered and that there aren't any issues.”

A partner you can trust

“We've developed a strong relationship with MBR over the years, and they've become our partner, not just a dealer. They help us with anything that comes up with our machines. For example, once we had a squirrel chew through a wiring harness on an excavator. Miller-Bradford was able to replace it easily and quickly, but then we noticed some glitches afterwards during operation. The problem ended up being from the factory; a couple of mismatched wires in the new wire harness. It wasn't simple to figure out, but MBR's service team wouldn't quit. They conducted extensive testing to determine what the issue was and fix it. We really value that patience and persistence.

The service team also went to bat for us when we had some things come up at the end of our warranty period for our loader backhoe. They communicated with CASE directly, did an awesome job explaining our situation, and ensured that everything was covered that was supposed to be covered.”
