Territory Sales Manager

Job Description
Reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through the close of the sale. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Customer segmentation based on fleet size, manufacturer and model purchased.

Territory
Wood, Portage, Marathon, Lincoln, Taylor & Price Counties

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by identifying new business opportunities by building new relationships as well as leveraging existing relationships.
  • Identify business opportunities by visiting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options.
  • Prepare professional sales presentations and quotations for customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, questions, and concerns regarding products, service, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Work both in collaboration with the Compact Equipment Salesperson and PSSR to grow the collective sales of everyone and provide high levels of customer support.
  • Be perceived by the customer as a sales consultant and problem solver, handling follow-up calls and customer problems effectively.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports per the request of the Branch Manager & VP of Sales.

Service Coordinator

Job Description
Reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through the close of the sale. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Customer segmentation based on fleet size, manufacturer and model purchased.

1. Customer Service/Administrative Duties:

  • Assist and direct all customer inquiries and questions
  • Daily reviewing & closing of invoices
  • Daily check CNH portal for warranty reimbursement and parts returns
  • Daily maintain the google spreadsheet associated to open warranties
  • Assist service team with customer accounts, questions, and machine information
  • Work with technicians directly to ensure work order accuracy, total customer satisfaction, and profitability
  • Maintain and update service technician’s tool lists
  • Assist sales team when needed
  • Assist with the preparation of customer estimates for parts and labor and delivery to customer
  • Open, process, & close purchase orders for the Service Department
  • Follow up with vendors & process outside labor to invoices
  • Assist the service manager in finding ways to grow the service revenue while controlling expenses
  • Follow up with technicians with any questions regarding work, parts, and fluids associated with work performed on work tickets
  • Answer and direct incoming calls through MBR phone system

2. Invoicing Service/Parts:

  • Assist Parts Manager with parts warranties
  • Proofread signed-off work orders
  • Verify all parts & fluids are accurately accounted for on work orders
  • Confirm correct GL codes
  • Confirm work orders are opened to the correct account (Customer, Warranty, Internal)
  • Review all work orders to ensure accuracy daily & before month-end closing
  • Close work orders to include verification of receipt of payment
  • Email or mail customers invoices when repairs are completed for pick-up of machine or equipment, as necessary

3. Warranty:

  • Prepare paperwork & send to Warranty Admin and Service Manager
  • Post information on Google Spreadsheet
  • File warranties in correct file folders
  • Send requested warranty parts to vendor
  • Track all warranty payments and post accordingly
  • Manage all denied claims and determine if the claim should be filed or appealed
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, credits, payments, etc.

Education/Training/Experience:

A high school diploma and/or additional education. Equivalent experience in a service/parts department, preferably in a dealership environment.

Specific Skill Requisites:

  • Good understanding of financial reporting principles
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and have strong computer skills
  • Organized and strong detail-oriented
  • Exhibits an enthusiastic mindset and excels as a collaborative team member
  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills and positive phone etiquette
  • Ability to service a variety of customers in a professional and courteous manner

This position is responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction within a sales territory. The Product Support Sales Rep must be able to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to cover a large geographic sales territory.

Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school, or equivalent experience in sales, service and parts. It is required that this individual have strong selling skills and interpersonal communications skills. Valid driver`s license with acceptable driving history.
