Product Support Sales Representative Marathon

Responsibilities
The Product Support Sales Representative will report to the Branch Manager to build and sell the parts and services business for the territory and branch operations. This position is responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction within a sales territory. The Product Support Sales Rep must be able to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to cover a large geographic sales territory.

Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school, or equivalent experience in sales, service and parts. It is required that this individual have strong selling skills and interpersonal communications skills.

Territory Manager- Heavy Equipment

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Generate revenue by identifying new business opportunities by building new relationships as well as leveraging existing relationships
  • Identifies business opportunities by visiting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales option
  • Prepares professional sales presentations and quotations for customers
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities
  • Provides excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, questions, concerns regarding products, service, delivery, and invoicing
  • Works both in collaboration with Compact Equipment Salesperson and PSSR to grow the collective sales of everyone and provide high levels of customer support.
  • Must be perceived by the customer as a sales consultant, problem solver, handling follow-up calls and customer problems effectively
  • Completes weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports per the request of Branch Manager & VP of Sales
  • Involved in local trade associations to network and further develop solid customer relationships
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to employees, clients, and prospects
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone solicitation, cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking
  • Achieves and/or exceeds annual sales objectives (new unit sales by manufacturer and used equipment dollar volume)

Requirements
Education/Training/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant construction equipment sales experience.

Specific skill requisites:

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must maintain a professional business appearance at all times
  • Must be able to build prospects and business relationships
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting and or exceeding sales goals
  • Must have good organization and time management skills for effective territory coverage
  • A good understanding and good computer applications in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel and Word
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and exceptionally self-disciplined

Asphalt Product Specialist

Job Description

  • Assist Territory Sales Managers in demonstrations, quotes, product deliveries, set-up and training our customers.
  • Develop, train, and support the sales and product support team. Share knowledge that will strengthen our market share.
  • Visit current MBR customers and prospect’s locations, both individually and with the Territory Sales Managers & PSSR’s to foster customer relationships.
  • Assist sales team and PSSRs in generating sales & service leads in MBR's paving, milling, reclaiming, stabilization, and HTR (Heavy Tandem Roller) business.
  • Be MBR’s asphalt product expert and be up to date on all Bomag products, selling features and competitive features.
  • Provide product training to MBR customers.
  • Gather, analyze, and report competitive and business developments and develop an annual business plan for asphalt products for the Vice President of Sales.
  • Attend training sessions and industry trade shows as required to stay informed about the latest developments in the field.

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant asphalt paving, milling, and/or compaction experience.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment industry a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Outside sales experience

  • Organized
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow up procedures.
  • Strong customer service and excellent verbal and communication skills

Additional skill requisites

  • Travel required as necessary within MBR branches and customer sites. Must be able to travel to Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois with company vehicle.
  • Able to perform duties effectively and resolve complex business issues in the field.
  • Able to work with all sales team members in a productive relationship which benefits MBR’s customers.

This is a remote position and must be able to report into the Sussex, WI corporate branch as needed. Ideal candidate would live centrally in Wisconsin.
